Fair play. It's an expensive, time consuming and stressful hobby at times… but when we get 'that' sound it'll stop. Won't it? lol

Ah.....I told myself that this would all stop after my flashback x4 3 weeks ago. 

Since then I've bought a Flint and a swirl telecaster, with above said plans....

It never stops. Sometimes it has a tea break, but it never stops!

I've had more gear than you can imagine in the last 12 months. There's always more.

I sold 7 guitars and my dual rec a couple years ago to fund a deposit on my house.. I've been on bare bones of one electric, bass and acoustic for far too long!

Ouch man, I can't imagine doing that with my gear. I think I'd actually cry! I guess it creates more opportunities to find something inspiring again though, it's easy to get into a rut.

It was tough mate. 

My dream guitar went in that splurge, which believe it or not was a Les Paul Classic, I just played my 339 more and so that was the only survivor electric wise. 

On the pedal front, my recent changes have been the best swaps I've ever done.   I wholeheartedly encourage everyone to try a Flint.

I wouldn't mind a 339 actually, good guitar.

I'm going to be putting a few pedals up for sale soon. Waiting on my Kingsley Jouster to arrive before I get rid of my Bogner Red. I've tried the Flint, it's a wonderful thing. Almost bought it, and might yet. Want to try the Lex too. In fact pretty much anything Strymon makes is impressive. Mobius is a possibility for the board as well.

I'd love to get one but maybe next xmas.

A Mobius is on my list but just can't justify it.

Looking at your board it's not like you could get rid of anything to get the Mobius. I'm thinking that I could sell my Hartman Flanger, Phase 90 and Micro Chorus, and then get one. Who knows.

I got my first ever LP last year as an unexpected present. It's the best sounding thing I've ever played, let alone owned. It's a '58 Custom, and it even smells amazing! Strange thing is, I don't play it very often… it feels like it should be for best, like an expensive suit or something.

I've been a very lucky boy with gear this year, although I will mention I have worked my arse off and bought the rest of it myself. I think I'm about 3-4 pedals away from having a dream setup. Oh, and probably another guitar.

After searching and searchinh, I think I'm resigned to having to save for a Mobius. 

I'd nearly just buy a Heavy Electronics Saturn which sound amazing but ideally I'd want another pedal or two which would have to be teeny tiny if another could fit at all. It just so happens that width of space in the bottom left corner is 6.7 inches, exactly Mobius spaced....

Eurgh, anyone got one going for less than 50%?

......thought not.

I feel you on this one, I'm thinking Mobius would be a better way of dealing with modulation duties. By the time you've bought a couple of 'boutique' pedals you'll be pretty much at Mobius territory anyway.

That said I have a Hartman Flanger and it's amazing. Should A/B them actually.
