Looks like remain will win I reckon
But it should encourage more democracy in the EU I hope

Will be interesting to see what the turnout is. Got very mixed reports from friends voting at different places up here.

Bloody hell this is interesting, first remain is thought to have won, even nigel submitted defeat.

Now newcastle and sunderland have come out with much more leave support than expected. Sunderland were thought to have been in the top 40 areas for remain, yet only won 50.7% of the vote.

Sterling is being sold off as fast as possible as people who thought remain was certain are now thinking the other way. Fuck me this is closer than I thought

This is really fun when your vote actually matters! General elections I'm in a very strong Tory seat so my vote doesn't matter.

In this every single vote counts equally.

I've been trying to find my postal vote for over a week and it finally showed up in some obscure drawer beneath our TV.
Girlfriend's sister did the cleaning and shifted everything - so I never got to post the vote.

    I think it'll be leave.

yes, the bankers should have felt the pain more than the citizens
The big problem - which of course the bankers know full well - is that you can't just let the banks go bust, because it causes such a big knock-on effect for the rest of the economy that the citizens will suffer at least as much. They have become both too powerful and too indispensible to be allowed to fail completely… so we privatise the profits and nationalise the losses.
Didn't the banks go down in Iceland, and now they're doing better than ever?

What is really really important is how David Cameron and the bank of England respond, they need to get a confident and positive statement out as soon as possible.

This isn't happening because leaving is bad, this is happening because the market don't know if leaving is bad, and whilst there is any uncertainty they will move their money to a safer place (us dollars).

Once the uncertainty is gone (or mostly gone) people will buy back the pound quickly whilst it is still cheap

An expensive decision the map on the link shows where these people live which makes interesting viewing.

There's gonna be some pain and the uncertainty could be crippling for the UK.

    Cost of 5 hours of Brexit = £252,000,000,000 (9% of £2.8 trillion)

Cost of Europe for a year = £18,200,000,000

    I rest my case.
