2012 Martin D-41 Dreadnought Guitar
I bought this new from GuitarGuitar in Birmingham and though I would never sell this, however something unexpected has come up and need to liquidate some stuff check out my other ads. I am based in Northampton and available most evenings from 7pm onwards you more than welcome to play this beautiful guitar before you purchase. Below is the blurb from Martin. With regards to electrics I have had fitted a LR Baggs Lyric microphone pick up which cost me £250 at the time although I believe they have gone down a little.
The Tone on this is truly stunning and even when I tried high end Taylors and Gibson this still knocks them out although I understand its preference.
String wise I am using Ernie ball Aluminium Bronze 11 -52 and this adds (I think to the low end a little) and a fresh set of these will be included in the sale ( I can restring if you want)
Now the debate over a D-35 v a D-41 will probably ensue on me uploading this all I am going to say is I chose the D-41 yes it was more money, yes it was more bling but it spoke to me and I have had 5 years with it and not regretted it at all. This has not been gigged so is in very good condition comes from a smoke free house and has been restrung regular and looked after. The top has dulled off a little which comes with age but it looks stunning, up until a month ago I played this
