    Brian Eastwood is a bit of a luthiering legend in those parts and was a great guy when I met him 10+ years back.
    He's based in Stacksteads near Bacup, and although there is a website it just points to Brian Eastwood Guitars on Facebook (I can't do a link as Fbook is blocked at work).
    Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman, in which case always be Batman.
    My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.

    I've used Matt Ryan in Milnrow for a lot of general set-up work: guitarrepairer.com. He's always done a good job for me and at fair prices. Never had him do anything as involved as a re-fret though.

    While we're at it on Manchester folk: does anyone have experience of using Phil Hartley (http://www.guitarsetup.co.uk)?? His website is well done and seems to inspire confidence, and I'm a bit tempted to try one of his "funky nut" proprietary intonated nuts; but I have no experience of using him and don't know anyone else who does either. Can anybody testify?
