    Er isn't this the same as VST plug ins for DAWs. Actually this is kind of what line6 did with the pod just put AmpFarm in a box/pedal
    I've been rumbled :).

    But I can see a day when independent  custom pedal designers will be doing it in the virtual world. And people will be willing to pay great sums of money for boutique virtual pedals that they can download to a multi fx unit instead of a computer. Or maybe the lines between fx units and computer hosted fx will just get more blurred.
    It's not a competition.
