@Teyeplayer I'd love to make stuff & sell on, don't want to own any more guitars but want to keep making. Next up is an offset similar to my orangey one, probably with a JM trem, limba body.
@Gagaryn that's a cool colour, hot rods customs & bikes was what got me into paint in the first place.
Started off the day well by scratching up a decal on the neck. So tomorrow will be strip & lacquer it again..
Got stuck into sanding the body and hit it with the compound, shines up nice and reflects well -

Wrapping this up finally. It's being played and sounds great - the Mojo J90s are superb, surf or fuzzed-out filth.
He (my lad) wanted a light neck tint and gold hardware, he wired it so the rollers are treble & bass cut, so flicking the switch gets a different tone. The copy trem works fine, no trees needed and it returns to tune.
The roller bridge (supposed to be solid brass but not entirely convinced) feels great. It might help in this having an unnatural sustain, for a JM.
The paint has sunk slightly showing some light grain lines and it's going to age because .. teenager!
Pic dump ahoy -

Thanks JD, I can't really remember but the usual weapons would be rasp possibly with spokeshave and maybe a small block file. Then hard sanding blocks to make sure the curve is even, not dipping to one end etc.
