Case in point, I'm trying to find Ibanez RG Neck mounting screws and ferrules.
They're not easy to get and some places on eBay are asking £30 for them.
Apparently, Ibanez doesn't even sell them as new parts.
I think the cheapest and quickest way to do this is to take the ones you want to an engineers supplies and match them up at the trade counter.
Most of the time they're a fairly standard size for things like scratchplates and pickups height adjusting set-screws/bolts but I agree it's not great when 4 screws end up costing over £5 with delivery and takes a few days to get to you.
When I used to build motorbikes from the ground up that's how I used to get all my fasteners. There was a place in Liverpool (Lloyd and Jones) that would match up anything you took into them, often in stainless steel which helped a lot with bikes.
Maybe google about your area and see if you have a nuts and bolts supplier close to you. They'll almost certainly sell screws as well and if you find one that's sympathetic to what you're doing, they may sell you a big selection of the relevant sizes etc.
It's worth a phone call at least.
Nowhere could supply a truss rod cover screw for my LTD EC401 and they did, so I found them very useful.
I've bought a few things from them and they're very reliable, always posted the same day I've bought the items.
Might be worth looking at.
Loads of places do them, ToneTech sell singles so you can make your own assortment if you want, but there's plenty of places that will sell packs.

Come to think of it, I reckon this is a really good idea and may add this as a permanent product in my shop.
Thanks for looking at it @Alegree
Will you let us know if you do it?
I've got thousands of SKUs to sort out between all my selling platforms over the next couple of days, but after that I'll get to this.
Every time I've bought pickguard screws lately I've been disappointed - all seem to have larger heads than the traditional Fender size - I've ended up reusing old ones that I had planned on replacing. I've got dozens and dozens of assorted guitar related screws and springs in divided boxes not to mention valve bases, strips of resistors, caps and metres or shielded and unshielded cable but more often than not don't have exactly what I'd like so end up buying even more.
WD in the US do bulk packs of screws.

Allparts uk often have bulk prices on their screws.
Just click on individual items and check the quantity drop down box.

B&Q are useless. There is one near me that is about the size of Luxembourg and they have zero brass slotted head domed screws - like those that hold on door knobs. Pretty common screws that often shear but they just don't stock them because B&Q is shit.
WD on the other hand are clearly brilliant - they have something called a KNOB SHOP IN A BOX - I need one!
