My Trading Feedback | You Bring The Band
Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after youWiddle-free.
Steve Tibbetts - the fall of us all
Jim Campilongo - Heaven is creepy
Pell Mell - Interstate
Robert Fripp & Andy Summers - I Advance Masked
Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet - Savvy Show Stoppers
...plus many more obscure post-rock nuggets than I could begin to list.
- One quiet night
- Offramp
Ernest Ranglin
- Below the bassline
Michael Brook
- Cobalt Blue
- Live at the Aquarium
And I've recently discovered Noveller (Sarah Lipstate) - who creates entire albums wih just guitar. And Mike Oldfield's Guitars - even the 'drums' are sampled percussive beats on an acoustic.
But +1 on the Campilongo and Ranglin albums.
Kenny Burrell's Midnight Blue a perpetual favourite I guess ( and a favourite of people like SRV and BB King).
Freddie King's Lets Hideaway and Danceaway which begat us Clapton, Stan Webb et al ( for better or worse) still holds up.
I've got bunches of surf stuff but on compilations or just listen on streaming. Dick Dale obvs but I'd highly recommend Los Straitjackets and the Bambi Molesters for modern takes on the genre.
And suprised we haven't got Play by Brad Paisley as yet, although it's not 100% instrumental.
Clearlight Symphony
Here's Cozy (With Jack Bruce playing an Aria Pro II SB1000).
Steve Vai - Alien Love Secrets (my favourite Vai tone ever)
Michael Landau - Tales From The Bulge.
I nearly chose Ah Via Musicom apart from it's got loads of singing on it
The Durutti Column, "The Return of The Durutti Column"
Also forgot about the Extremist, good album.
Al do Meola's Elegant Gypsy is still pretty epic, the solo on the first track is so fiery.
Obscure but underrated: Neil Schon - Electric World.
