Posting pictures ~ a little help

For months I had a problem where I couldn't see Imgur pics, even on my own Imgur account, which suddenly stopped me uploading any more pics.

It turns out that there is a known problem between Imgur and Vodafone (we changed ISP from TalkTalk earlier this year).

The fix is in the Vodafone router settings - change DNS from "automatic" to "manual", and enter an IP address of 8.8.8.8 and behold - normal service resumed!

I believe this is a Vodafone thing, so it may affect other hosting sites as well as Imgur.

PhotoBucket is back (allegedly) ~ although I would treat it with caution after the companies recent demonstration of callus disregard for it's customers !
