If you fancy tinkering with some electronics you could try RG Keens LERA bolt on for speed ramp up/down.

Incredible. Exactly what I require. I suppose I could take that to a pedal tech and have them install it.
In the meantime, I believe I have found a tremolo pedal that does the brake function and more.
More soon once the seller gets back to me.

I'm trying to recall if the empress has a volume follow mode. Will have to look it up. Been ages since I used mine.
