In the light of today's news story about KFC having to temporarily close outlets due to undersupply of chicken, what substitute meats would you consider acceptable?

Rabbit? Turkey? Pigeon? Goose? Duck? Dog? Cat?

Had to laugh at the news! Typical business twats, they swapped provider obviously because they got a lower quote, but the provider (DHL) are charlatans who couldn't deliver (literally!). We've had this at work before. The management ceremoniously dumped our long standing catering company of 20 odd years and bought in a new company that were cheaper but totally useless! 6 weeks later they went cap in hand back to the original company.

It says something if your new logistical experience is worse than fucking Bidvest. Going by some of the promo material when the DHL deal was announced, I would bet that delivery times were one of the reasons KFC moved to DHL. When I was with Greene King, Bidvest would give you a delivery window between 8am to 6pm. I could get to work (I'd work alone) and find a kitchen full of food that had been there for two hours defrosting or I'd get a driver dumping it all on me at 5.45pm just before evening service.

Went to our local kfc the other day. Had to have wraps as they had no burger buns. We thought that was laughable, but for them to run out of chicken...
Whatever next? My local kebab shop running of bluebottles for its window display?

Anyway, in situations like this the Queen needs to step in and share the swan.

Couldn't they just use roadkill, cheaper and would be a step up on their usual offering.
