  It's a 2009, my mate bought it new in 2010, I've had it on loan about a dozen times and finally bought it from him about 6 months ago. It's a good one!

  Yes, know what you mean. I've wanted this guitar for ages, I bought one of those thin skin AVRIs in Fiesta red but it was a very different beast, much heavier and sounded brighter and harsher, that was sold a while ago, possibly on here? Had a matching headlock which was cool - found a picture - 
  
  
  
  And found a picture of the CS when it still had it's (factory fitted!) buzz stop. And OTT ageing to on all the metalwork. :-(

  Yip, believe the original were vulcanised fibreboard - it wood pick up the oils from the wood. These are some sort of plastic but it takes a stain.

  I use old poker chips as harvite is one of the materials reported to be used
