Oi! @Kebabkid you will definitely appreciate this
Any chance you could post a link to the stems ?
That is something I have yet to explore, good call, and an exciting next step for me to explore the whole recording process again (I used to be a dab hand with 2" tape and a razor blade!). I am sure a few others on here would benefit from that too. Glad you're enjoying the content in this thread
@richardhomer makes a good point about harmonically difficult music having the ability to be accessible, and interesting. Oh, and Sting being irritating too
However, given the choice I would take the vast library of the possible that the internet has opened us for us all. I think channels like Rick's take an intelligent approach that opens as many doors for learning, progression, and individualism as a hungry and enquiring mind could hope for.

Although there is obviously advantage to be had by many parties with this sort of YT content, there is the obvious marketing upside to the rights holder of brand/band/song awareness, proliferation, knock on sales potential, up-selling of the whole catalogue, and performing rights revenue, etc. I have no idea why the industry is so tight arsed !
