Just got my new (to me) Cort Curbow! Brilliant little thing, just in need of a little set up, as the action gets higher the further up the neck you go. (Solved with a shim) Pickups are brilliant: Bartolini Mk I active, with active pre amp. The slap switch is brilliant, and every single tone in the EQ is more than usable. Ebonite fretboard, and Luthite body are surprisingly good actually! Really stable, and snappy sounding. Great for scooped mid tones for slap or metal. The neck is brilliant too, 27 frets on the E and 24 on the G, really thin and satin-y
Overall, could not be happier with her for £189

I took the neck off to shim the heel earlier, the action was pretty high by the time you got to 24th. So I got a got a close up view of what Luthite actually looks like. Still no closer to understanding what it actually IS but I can confirm it stinks of white spirit for some reason... So now, she plays perfectly and I now know she's a Jan 2006 guitar Nice to know I guess.
