I’ve worked on Mrs. R.’s music taste over the years so that we’ve gone from “Pearl who?” to having Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town playing at our wedding ceremony. I call that a result.
Anyway, they’re my favourite band so she now has to like them by law.
Roll on Tuesday.
Was great man, some really good choices in the set list like parting ways, Down and footsteps, never seen them play those live, Eddie did mention he was having some throat problems, so hope that's better for you for tonight.
It was about 2 and a half hours maybe pushing 2hrs 45.
Ho-hum...
LoFi ; sounds like your girlfriend has a good taste in music :-P Let's hope you get converted tonight!! If anyone else is looking for a girlfriend with good taste in music, I'm available lol
Well, I've totally failed to find anyone for my spare ticket. Just haven't got many friends in London . I'm not as bothered about losing money (it will teach me not to buy spare tickets when I haven't got anyone to take with me!) but just feel guilty about wasting a ticket while there might be others who couldn't get one. But there seemed to be loads of reasonably priced tickets on the reselling website still available when I checked on Friday so it sounds like it's not a sold out show after all, and hopefully everyone who wanted a ticket got one!
Mine's free to good home for anyone who might be reading it!!
@underdog did they have a support band?
Eddie's lost his voice.
That's gutting for those going tonight. He mentioned last night he'd been to 2 specialists yesterday and seemed in good form last night.
If that is the case man let me know, could help each other out.
Utterly gutted
