As some of you know, I am a MASSIVE Mick Ralphs fan, especially his work with Bad Company & Mott The Hoople, so i'm chuffed to bits to have just snagged this:

'86 Fender Japan Esquire, formerly owned by Mick Ralphs!

And I wouldn't have known anything about it, if it wasn't for eagle-eyed Fretboarder @jimmyguitar who knew I was a Mick fan from my various posts on here and  messaged me to alert me to it, thanks Jim!

Glad to have been of service @miserneil , I immediately thought of you. Looks extremely cool even without the Ralphs connection/signature!

Yeah, I don’t anticipate messing with it, just play it hard as intended :)

and string/tune accordingly ? - can't recall what it is but recall somewhat of an odd ball tuning

Open C! I dare say I’ll try it for a bit but it’ll generally be in Standard or Open G for me.

    Have you tried it @poopot?

I've bought it 'blind' which is unusual for me but it was a good price and I couldn't resist. Mick never generally has had dogs so I trusted his judgement ;)
