I've been down the excessive pedal hoardage path and it just leads to dusty pedals in a cupboard
I'm feeling quite virtuous at the minute but time will tell.
Got the Strymon Dig which is a really versatile delay with two separaye delays on it though. That and a Flint seems to be quite enough for some wonder.
Once a year (or so) I review what I have and get rid of anything I don’t like any more.
I try not to analyse it beyond that
Where I did get a bit out of control is building them from kits or PCBs. I have about 6 drive pedals that I am unlikely to use, but their resale value is basically zero. I expect I'll just strip them down and use them to build other types of pedals (i.e. use the cases, switches, jacks, etc.)
I'm hoping to soon add a small wah and a Digitech Drop to the board, so my DOD Carcosa is up for sale as it's not getting much use, and possibly my Blues Driver too. That'll clear enough space for those two and leave a bit of wiggle room if I eventually find a Data Corrupter and/or Enzo for the right prices.
