I want to add another pedal to my board. However the only space available is to the right of the board i.e. the input end, but it needs to be last in the chain. This will mean I'd have to make a patch cable long enough to stretch across to the output side of the board. My only query is this, possibly unnecessarily, long cable going to contribute to any tone loss etc. Personally I believe that the lengths of various patch cables linking the pedals (not many by the way) in my case isn't going to matter that much to the naked ear but I've read that cable length can add to the sound in a bad way. Surely I have nothing to worry about?
