Hi guys,
I've got a bit of an issue with a buyer on reverb.com.
Yesterday a guy bought my styrmon mobius and paid for it straight away so I was getting ready to send it when this morning I receive a message asking for a refund. The guys says that he bought the pedal " accidentally".
My problem is that I was in the middle of a deal for this pedal with another buyer that I was going to accept, but now the offer is obviously gone and also I had a read through the refund policy and apparently I'll only be refund partially??? like reverb keeps the fees and gives it to you as a token? I'm not sure I really understand what the policy is about, english isn't my first language but it seems that their is one too many "if" in their refund policy...
So I'm just wondering what to do? knowing that it is completely out of the question to pay a fee for a sale I'm not benefiting from...
Have you been in a similar situation?
Cheers

You'll have to agree the refund with your buyer (anything else and he'll find a way to return it whatever, causing you even more nuisance). Re. Reverb, I'd contact them, explain the situation (that pedal has not even been dispatched, buyer has had change of heart etc.) and request that they cancel the sale completely and not take their fee. If they're sensible, they'll agree.
If it’s your end I can kind of see why they might do it as a deterrent but not if it’s the buyers end.
They should make make themselves more attractive than eBay to lure musicians on to the platform. If this is the case it’s just another reason to stay away from Reverb.
Although on this help page it says they’ll credit you with any reverb fees?
