Chapman V2 Models at Andertons!

Chapman's nice affordable Standard series are back in a new and apparently improved V2.

I really quite fancy both an ML1 and ML3 at this new standard.  That blue ML1 looks excellent.

I actually tried one of the, err, V1, versions last year and it was superb, so I'm thinking of a purchase here...

If there is any chance of making this thread on a guitar forum about guitars, then can we do so....?  Thanks all ;)

If they did a fat neck/wide nut option on Chapmans I’d be all over a 1 or a 3

I've always thought it looks like a pasty.
I would love to change my username, but I fully understand the T&C's (it was an old band nickname). So please feel free to call me Dave.

If only they did  a seven string that you could buy then send for “conversion”.

Prob. Break the forum if you did though   :)

The quality control on the early models were shocking.

They were cheap, made in China and designed to be bodged. It looks like the company has come a long way and been quite open with their progress.

Do they still make them at WMI in Korea?

I do try to be weary of online hype but every guitar I've read about that was made there gets almost universal hype online and I have 3 instruments made there priced £330, £500 and £570 and all 3 are as good quality as I've ever personally seen on a guitar (which includes many >£1000 models but I don't think any >£2000)

From what I can see Pro series still made in Korea and unchanged. Standard series were already made in Indonesia but they’ve changed Indonesian factory for v2.

The standard series has always been Indonesian, its the Pro series that is Korean. The Pro series is remaining the same, built at WMI, it's just they have found a new factory for the standard series.
