What’s your favourite place to browse around, looking at the wares? (not online).

I’d have to say mine is Machine Mart.  I just love all the tools!

Either that or a large motorcycle showroom...  the smell is divine and rows and rows of pristine bikes - drool!
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine.

As I only go during the week generally I would say Andertons or guitar guitar. Other than music shops I don’t really love shopping.

I spent time in TK Maxx and Debenhams buying bedding over the weekend.

I know how to live on the edge when I go shopping!

I like Waitrose in Worcester. It has more stuff than the other branches I’ve been in - sushi bar, wine bar, two cafes, sort of indoor picnic area, surprisingly nice toilets. I’ll wander around for five minutes, go to the toilet, get a free coffee and buy something like skinny popcorn.

If we are out shopping I’m pretty much kept in check by the promise of a visit to a coffee shop, despite the many naysayers on here an over priced milky coffee is one of my pleasures in life.

Can't think of anything that I get that excited about to be honest, although I quite like to look around a big Forbidden Planet store.

Foyles book shop on Charring Cross Road. It’s the best book shop I’ve ever been in.

James Smith and Sons umbrella shop on New Oxford St. It has hardly changed since Victorian times. It’s a lovely window into the past. And their umbrellas are great.

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

Hopefully both of you got to see Foyles in the 80s and early 90s before it was refurbed. It was a maze of tiny book filled alleys spread across what were several buildings.  Was such an experience finding your way around. Bit too corporate now which is a shame
