You do realise that it would in all likelihood become the largest sub forum by a significant margin?

There would be tumbleweeds all over the rest of the site....

It’s difficult not to get repeat questions when you have a single interest forum with new members joining daily and a dubious search function.

Plus, opinions change over time. There will come a time when we get a whole thread extolling the virtues of 2015 Gibsons ;)

On TDPRI they have an epic threads section, although possibly that serves a counter purpose to what the OP is asking here as what newbie wants to dip into a 2000 page thread.

I generally view TheFB by Recent Discussions so it’s easy enough go to past the ones on eBay, relics, how amazing the Helix is, why the Helix isn’t amazing, which overdrive should I get, which is the best overdrive in the Helix, which is the best overdrive to add to the Helix, has anyone ever knitted their own gig bag for the Helix Stomp...

Hey man - what goes around comes around.
    Much like music trends.
BTW - has anyone heard that Elvis Presley bloke? I’m not sure about his exaggerated leg movements, but I dig the swing of the beat.

Probably more protection than those stupid Gibson cardboard cases from the 50’s and 60’s

On a serious note, it is what it is, I’m afraid.

With volunteer mods we simply don’t have the time to caretake with enough detail to ensure there’s less reposts. We could either spend time moving stuff and messing about with threads or spend time shifting stuff into a faq type thing - either way, it’s time we just don’t have as there’s enough to do with our limited time just stopping the spamming and caretaking the classifieds

You assume the forum search works properly..... would be great if the software was updated to something that allowed simple searches and allowed us to easily post pictures!
