Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
It's a great guitar, mines a bit rough around the edges on the build front in places but it plays nice and tone-wise has seen off some far more esoteric guitars.

I was going to buy that, but was put off by the butterised fretboard. I prefer the feel of an hard substance - like wood. If I wanted that treacle, greasy feel, I would rub lard all over my fretboard to ruin the playability and tone.
The seller tells us its like butter...
"Wonderful low action all the way along the neck – no buzz or rattle – like playing on butter"
Is it Ebony, Rosewood or Butter... or even marg ?

Gibson claim Rosewood in their specs, the seller claims Buttered Ebony

All I'm saying is that nobody here can call the seller a lying bastard without examining the guitar. Why would he claim ebony when that would leave himself open to a claim for the goods being other than described? It makes no real difference to the price.

If I had the funds I'd be having this guitar.
