This is total arsenips!!!

She has a look of the Springsteens about her.

This Fender Telecaster is unique you will not find one like it in this condition anywhere. she has been persuaded into looking this way with experience, sweat and care, not stamped on and thrown into a room full of les Paul players !!

This is not an original 50's60's70's TELE, but it really looks the part.

I'm sure @Clarky and @Frankus will like it though. :P

Roadworn? Looks more like a nasty case of dry rot to me.

    More roadkill I think.

Though I hate to say it, but I like the shipwrecked look...

I think that wins the Worst Relic Job Ever prize. There's strong competition I know, but I can't think of any others that have looked so bad you almost can't believe you're looking at a real physical guitar and not at a bad artwork of one.

I was trying to place it, but I've just realised it has a Victorian urinal influence (effluence).

    OK, I'm going now

Looks like you would catch something from it.

    An infectious finish.

  • Looks like they pulled it out of the fire only to drop it in the path of a run away belt sander.  Probably was a nice guitar last year.

I am with you.   as relics go its terrible.   but ignore that word and look at it as a prop for a post-apocalyptic Disney film and you can almost see where he was going with it

    Captain jack sparrow's tele?

It is a terrible relic, but I can see... Sorta... I mean, it looks like it might have been recovered from the titanic or something. That's the best I can give it.

    I'm out.

  • Oh, I saw that, it was linked in the 1978 Tele in the other thread. It's too easy to make fun of these people who think that "1970s school desk" is a good look. And anybody who refers to an inanimate object as "she" is off my Christmas card list forever.

I rather like it. Obviously not as a 'relic' but if one was going for the horror/zombie/Pirates of the Caribbean vibe it'd be bonzer

I don't mind relics myself but Jesus Christ, I'd rather eat my own shit than be seen on stage with that. Horrifying.

Inexplicably, I quite like the look of it (as a weird 'prop'-type guitar, not as a 'relic') - but surely it must be plywood for the body to be wearing in 'layers' like that? Which would likely mean it'll sound like shit?
