    Brilliant.

Starcasters really are in just now - I bet there have been more players seen using them in the last couple of years than back when the originals came out… and it does sound great. I'm not keen on the Gibson hardware but I have been starting to wonder whether you could put a trem on one :).

That bass sound is not helping me stop thinking about buying a semi-acoustic bass either.

    Nice and thanks for that.

I like the fact the PN bubbles under the radar and doesn't get caught up in the "celebrity crap" and brings out consistently good stuff. I loved 10/10 and thought the album it came from was also very good.

  • Played this to the wife earlier and it made her cry. Take from that what you will :-?

  • Sunny Side Up was bloody fantastic.

I've been waiting so long for this and based on this evidence, the new album's going to blow minds. Thanks for posting.

The spiritual successor to Van Morrison anyone?

    I hope not.

I was just referring to some vague similarities between the two.
Like Van, Paolo got his start in the professional game very young. He has an uncanny knack for delivering soul and r+b music with a sincerity and intensity that belies his age (and culture). He's already shown that he can slide between genres with ease with his last album, and they're both celts (whatever thats worth).
Worse things could happen than for Poalo to have a long and fruitful, trend defying career. Bringing his own slant on jazz/soul/r+b/folk music to a newer generation and providing inspiration to many on the way. No?

In respect of Van, this is almost certainly a typo....

    Absolutely, no argument there.

Just the less said about Van Morrison the better.

Have you heard this one and something about it reminds me of The Black Crowes

  • Nice.

The tempo and the vibe reminds me of one of the tunes from his debut. Can't recall the exact name, "New Shoes" or something like that if i remember correctly.

"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

I heard him supporting the Stones, and he sounded great. Not necessarily my thing, but talented for sure.

My wife has an album of his somewhere.
