 Yep...Rio....The Bass during the Sax solo is ace. So ace I don’t really hear the sax solo

Surprised there haven't been more mentions of Motown stuff in general on this thread, with the exception of Jackson 5 stuff. Could probably nominate at least a dozen great tracks from the Motown heyday for this thread, an incredible output from one label!

Yup. Always felt they were held back by the name of the band, though.

Trivia - I was at a gig when Charlie Tumahi split his strides right round the crotch, and had to dash off stage. Rest of the band collapsed laughing, but to Charlie’s credit he returned wearing a shitty boiler suit borrowed from a janitor’s cupboard, and off they went again. I read that Charlie died some time ago.
