Anyone got a neck made from Rosewood?

My PRS McCarty has a solid rosewood neck. Has a lovely feel to it and adds a certainty snappiness to the tone.

I've never played a rosewood neck but normal rosewood has quite open pores, can you not feel it when playing?

I had a PRS Modern Eagle with a Brazilian Rosewood neck, it was a sublime feeling neck. I can't really believe I let that guitar go and bitterly regret selling it. The flame top was a bit garish though, but that neck...

I have a feeling we will see a LOT less full rosewood necks now. Or, a huge increase in price.

Now I just want the day off to play my Albert Lee HH.

I think that's just an effect of the lighting. Looks much darker in person.
