    I may just do that! It was my ex's camera but I bought the prime lens. Don't know if I'll go back down the DSLR route again or not.

    So then lens arrived. Even though the Canon 40mm 2.8f STM is a cheap lens, it's actually WAY nicer than my Yashinon!! Depth of field and 'bokeh' is much more pleasing to look at, and the colours are richer too. Honest guv! Not making it up!

    yep seriously good lens for the money, same goes for all the current fixed focals no matter what brand/system..

    my experience with both the Canon and Pentax 40mm's is the edge to edge sharpness even wide open is unbeatable this side of £300
