Thanks, it's an Epiphone Gothic with emg81/85 combo. Bought it back in about 2003 and it plays (and sounds) really really nice. Will never get rid, it's a keeper.

Love it. I've had it 11 years now. but to be honest I've played a couple and mine seems to have the mojo.

If you can deal with the wider fretboard and change out the neck pickup because the stock one gets boomy then it makes a lot of the hollow Gibson range feel like children's toys

When I was younger I always seen Clapton videos my dad played with a black Strat and maple board. Then I got into Hendrix and his were usually black too. So when I bought one I just thought hat was the colour they were meant to be and the shop didn't have a white one.

I STILL think Strats should be black. Or Olympic white if you're a flash bastard but that's it.
