"Hmmm. I want a new guitar."

    Easy.
    - "I'm going to write a very stiff letter. A VERY stiff letter. On cardboard."

Although I have decided a new car takes priority over buying a new guitar. This time...

I now find myself wanting another Les Paul so I can have it in different tuning. :-(

But surely this is a valid reason

    A valid case for robo-tuners ;)
One day I'm going to make a guitar out of butter to experience just how well it actually plays.

My daughter just started guitar lessons at primary school so it's absolutely vital that we buy "her" a Taylor acoustic.

I need a sonic blue one; the surf green one clashes with this particular shirt I'm wearing today.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

    We are all different.
elwood would spend £20k on 15 guitars.
I would spend £20K on one guitar (or possibly 2 guitars).

I am certain that I am right.
But we are all different and we should try harder to understand each other.

The HarrySeven approach makes a little more sense to me because these budget guitars feel like they are part of our social history.  And.....the end result looks more like a "collection" to me.
I can just about imagine my house filled with those guitars in a parallel universe.

And no kid should be seen without a high end home studio setup and really expensive set of cans.....

    More than reasonable.

I think.... throughout her career... Joni Mitchell used over 50 different tunings.

    Just saying  ;-)
