Good names: Topless Barmaids (actually a bunch of 60+ folkies), Free Beer
I wanted to call a band "Dee Riddiman Blooze Band" but nobody else was up for it.

We had a "Free Beer" band in my area a few years ago.  I never heard any stories about angry patrons coming in because the marquee said "Free Beer" without knowing it was a bands name.  Another favorite here was "Bubonic Plaid", a local Celtic band.

I remember a competition in Making Music magazine in the 90’s for bad band names and “Bum Gravy” was in the top 5... or should that be bottom.
