I think Aylesbury would be much better as Aylesbowie provided Tony Visconti were the mayor and Brian Eno were head of recycling and rubbish collection.

He said a name change would not be out of the ordinary as Aylesbury has had several names over the years.

"Since records began there have been 57 variations of the town's name," he said."

Mr. Stopps then fell over, passed out, and began snoring heavily as a result of excessive alcohol consumption.

And I rather suspect that the first 56 variations occurred before road maps and signposts were made in large numbers, before the existence of the GPO, and before companies and government organisations had databases with customers' names and addresses in.

Aylesbury has a far stronger connection with child sex slavery and students getting mugged between the train station and the college though.
