I was all set for one of these before the Guitar Nerds podcast said the Echoline Everest Drive made the Broadcast sound 'ordinary'. Now I want both

I've had my Broadcast since 2015 and it's had solid use since then.  After a month of initial playing I contacted Michael with a few suggestions and next thing I know he'd agreed to give it a shot.  Mine went on to become the first 2 footswitch version.  Being rather shallow I wanted to keep the large toggle switch so asked if I could have that used to choose between momentary and latching on the high gain soft footswitch.
I then went back to Michael to get a charge pump fitted so it's now switchable up to 24v as well.

All in all the pedal is superb and Michael is an absolute great guy to deal with, especially for putting up with my requests.  He even made me a small footprint germanium octave up and one for himself with the random name of Octazer that I jokingly suggested!

I know Michael is working on some new stuff. I don’t know what or when, just that there’s new stuff. I’m as excited as anyone else

Have any of you tried the Sidecar? That’s brilliant as well. The guy knows what he’s doing!

  • Mine has arrived.

Excellent efficient service from @NorthernStomps . Many thanks indeed.

I had approximately 8 minutes to plug it in and try it out before collecting Fredette#2 from school.

Banged it on my pedal board and plugged in. Oh.
    That sounds horrible  :s
Loads of treble, no bass and generally yuk.

    Fiddled with the knobs.
    Nope, still shit.
    Excitement gone.
Then a wave of non-stupidity washed over me.  There's some buffered pedals in front of it.
    Unplug.
    Plug straight in.
    BOOM!
F*CK my old boots that's better.
    A LOT better.
This is going to be FUN.
    ..
Oh poo I'm late to pick up Fredette#2...
