My posting history shows that I am a Gil Yaron admirer. As does this thread.

I am not derailing this sale. I have made it clear that this is modern guitar building at it's finest. And I have just bumped this for sale thread to repeat that statement.

Perhaps you are confusing me with some other guy. Some other guy who posts on "MLP Forum".

The second part of my post was politely expressing a difference of opinion about which guitar is closest to a 'Burst.  You should give that a try. 

None of us should claim to be experts when it comes to preferences. But we should feel free to speak from experience.

My claim that a 'Burst and a Conversion are both 50s Les Pauls is not a controversial statement. It is a fact.

Tom Wittrock (LPF) owns multiple 'Bursts. His favourite 50s Les Paul is his Conversion.

Sorry i'm late to the party replying! Had a manic weekend, the Lol's dont bother me at all, anyone who is aware of Gil's work knows just how amazing these guitars actually are, if Gibson actually took some attention and put the same amount of work and effort into the current work maybe they may not be in the position they are now in. 

I'm only considering selling because as amazing as this Yaron is, its not my No1 LP, my other one isn't a Yaron but Ive had it for years and the bond is too strong. I feel sad that the Yaron doenst get the attention it deserves! That is the only reason! 

Anyone has any more questions please let me know!

Listing the specs may help.

reclaimed old maple, braz. board and CITIES cert y/n, caps etc etc.. 
iirc Gil had a few options ranging from a basic "replica" or whatever the right term is to a full on aged, BRRW, old wood, nos this and that version

I would imagine that if someone is considering dropping 11k on this guitar they would probably either be aware of, or have already taken the time to avail themselves of, those specific details
