Can't really stand Nando's to be honest, it's like an expensive KFC but the food is more disappointing.

The only thing I even remotely like there is the grilled halloumi and Portobello mushroom pita thing.

Of course you don’t need complex culinary skills to cook at Nando’s - it’s chicken and sauce!!

I like it because almost everything is gluten free, which makes my life easy.

Extra hot chicken breast in pitta with spicy rice.

It's not gourmet but then you wouldn't go there expecting that. It's a fast food chicken restaurant at the end of the day.

It really puzzles me why Nandos is so popular.

Utterly tasteless food disguised by a hot chilli sauce.  You may as well just eat some sauce and forget all about the ''chicken' . The only thing vaguely edible is that halloumi mushroom burger thing and even that manages to be disappointing.

This. I end up wishing I'd had a starter or a extra fillet in my pitta. I always put too much sauce on even though I know what will happen... I go about once a year so I just end up having too many Super Bocks and put too much sauce on.

Half a chicken, medium.  Then extra hot and garlic sauces for dipping.  Chips and garlic bread on the side and at least 2 bottles of super bock to wash it down.

its not fine dining, it’s a step above KFC... but I also enjoy one of those occasionally (zinger tower burger please).
