You own a Strat & a Tele, so what other Fender would you choose?

What's Hot
You fancy something different, what would be your next Fender and why?

Tele Deluxe. Buckers, but still has the look/feel.

    72 tele custom?

That’s the difference with Gibson, I’d happily own loads of their designs.

I'd sell the Strat and buy a Jazzmaster.

Why? Can you play Hendrix on a JM?

Jag or Jazzmaster, depending on which you prefer the sound of.

Probably the most different from a Strat or a Tele there is. (Without being an acoustic or a bass.)

Nothing. I like the percussivess and simplicity of a Tele and the somewhat more slinky feel and more rounded tones of a Strat. All the Fenders I want or need.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

Jaguar or jazzmaster, nails the dinosaur jr / sonic youth tone. Probably getting one of the Squier CV 70s jags in black when they’re out.

Jazzmaster and Jaguar. But not a new one. Re-issue or something similar.

A Starcaster. Very different. I saw Jim Sullivan playing one years ago and it left a lasting impression.

  • sell both, buy a Gibson ;)

Jaguar, to muck about with a different scale length, or a Tele Deluxe to muck about the 'buckers.

Original Tele thinline with the two (proper) wide-range humbuckers.  For great tone that you can't get from newer re-issues.

I played a us jazzmaster today at andertons, after years of thinking it might be the answer, It was very nice but like a strat without a tremolo and therefore not as good.
