Battlefield Bad Company 2. Had a group of 20 or so friends who were deeply into this. At all times you would be able to hop online and find a squad who communicated, coordinated and whupped asses. Fantastic
System Shock 2. 
Match Day 2 on the old Speccy, and Daley Thompsons Decathlon - the game that started it all for me.
Now i have kids i have to fight them for Xbox time. Lame.

I’d forgotten Tempest 2000. That was ace, especially that banging techno soundtrack.  Speaking of soundtrack, what about the original Wipeout? That was excellent too.

Soo many.  I worked in computer games for about 18 years..  It used to be my thang...   After a stint as a designer I got really bored with them.. When playing them I would just end up criticising them from a design point of view and it all got very dull..  The last actual game I think I played was Batman on the 360... Before that though...

Have recently discovered American Truck Simulator on the PC, very addictive! Have always loved sim games and am stoked at the announcement of a new MS Flight Simulator coming in 2020.
