Witcher 3 is mega cheap on steam right now..is it worth a punt?
Dunno. I only played it for about 5 minutes and then got bored.
I got it in a previous sale - it's clearly a great game but not one that I got.sucked into like a lot of people apparently do - not sure why

I picked up The Bioshock Collection today - not actually played it!
Play 1, skip 2, play Infinite.
ta - I'd heard Infinite was great but didn't want to jump right in but may do as you suggest.

Only slight downside - I *think* that I know the big Bioshock 1 spoiler/twist but I'm sure it won't undermine the overall game
There is a subtle but vastly important link between 1 and Infinite that will hugely improve your understanding and appreciation of it if you play 1 through in full (the 'plot twist' is seperate to this link), then Infinite, and save yourself some time by disregarding 2 completely as it doesn't fit the story and was a hurried to-demand sequel.

  • I still finished it. Completeld Bioshock 1+2 in a single weekend, and came away completely bleary eyed and bored with the series. So I held off on Infinite for a year. Then I did that from start to finish too.

I liked it. But Bioshock 1 is the king as far as I'm concerned!

    Bye!

Had a shirt session on it today. It's interesting how level design can feel dated - still good though
