WTB: An Amp - Now sorted

Ok, i've been let down 4 times now for different amps by sellers on Reverb and eBay/Gumtree.

Someone please sell me something, and actually go through with the transaction to the point where I actually receive the item.

Things I have looked at are:

Victory V40
Blackstar HT 50 Mkii
PRS Sonzero

I'm after something Fendery clean that takes pedals well, but can also do the heavy rock thing if pushed....

EDIT: Ideally a head/cab rather than combo, but i'll consider things.....

Talk to me about the monies.

WHY?!

Mesa Lonestar? Doesn’t do the brutalz but that’s why god invented pedals.

I play guitar and take photos of stuff. I also like beans on toast.

Cheers Ross, I have viewed your ad a few times, but I think it's too pricey and too heavy for me....

Welcome to come and try my Mesa Maverick and Tone King Falcon over a cuppa some time? The Mesa is up for sale but the TK might also inspire you.

@Fuengi - that’s a very kind offer, thank you, but I’m cocking miles away from you. Does the Mesa weigh the same as Saturn? Or is it manageable?

@RevMatt interesting......! Is the main difference between the V30 and the V40 that the 40 is single channel with reverb? (And more power obv)

I'm not really familiar with the V40 so unsure of the main differences, although I think the power is misleading as the V30 is actually 42 watts!

Your location is down as both Surrey and North Devon! The Mesa is pretty hefty for a 1x12 combo for sure, but I can get it down my garden which is like the north face of the Eiger without immediate need for physio.

What are you looking for, something for home use or gigging?

It's manageable for that, certainly. Loud as heck and has endless headroom in the clean channel plus takes drive pedals brilliantly. Superb clean channel.

I'll weigh it tomorrow out of interest.
