What were the DC resistance meter readings on the Duncan humbuckers?

I would imagine ‘59, Jazz, Alnico II Pro or Pearly Gates for the neck/Rhythm position. IMO, the nearest Duncan to the PRS HFS is their Distortion model.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

Adore this, really do...except I prefer PRS lampshade knobs, I think the clear ones you had before works best.

p.s. Is that a seatbelt as a strap?

It's definitely not a museum piece, but I have no plans on ever moving this one on

@RaymondLin - I tried some clear lampshades on there, and while I liked the look, I didn’t like them as much for violining the level, or for the 5-way rotary. These ones are a slightly wider diameter, and work better for my style of playing! :) Also, yes 1 pretty much! It’s a nylon-weave seatbelt strap - very comfortable.

@TTony - I’ve almost certainly said it before with other guitars, but this one (and the Eastman, thanks to your good self) really doesn’t look like it’ll leave the collection. Sure, one day I’d like to add a 594, and probably a Silver Sky, but they’re very different things, and don’t displace this one. :+1:

Not quite sure - I never got around to measuring them! I’ve put them into my Trini clone now and they work well in there anyway

The new knobs are stupidly priced but god they're a huge improvement.  A necessary upgrade on any older PRS :)

    Well, you were right! lol

It’s on the chopping block now for a 594, though if no bites happen and I end up keeping it’s then that’s fine with me too. I can always save up and get a 594 as well as this one!
