So... how many guitars do you actually own

2 Acoustics, 1 crusty old APX4A and a crusty old FG450SA

Don't really feel the complusion to get anything else electric. Wouldn't mind a jazz box or tele though.....I think that's denial

Fender "JV" strat, the guy I bought it off changed the body for an allparts USA body but it has an 82 JV neck and electronics.  Bloody lovely strat!

I have 10 guitars 9 of them are solid body and 1 acoustic.

I never have more than two electrics at one time, eventually I'll have three, a single coil Fender, a humbucker equipped guitar (prs, SG or other), a hollow body (335, Ibanez or other) and maybe another than is the combination of all 3. 

This may have something to do with the fact I only have 4 guitar hooks on my wall, the rest of my room contains recording equipment so there's not much space for much else.

17. Today I discovered a guitar I had hidden and forgotten about.

As we are immigrating I have agreed to sell 5. Any money I make will be used to purchase more when we get to the US so it will work itself out.

Currently: 6 (4 elec - 3 LP style, 1 Tele, and 2 acoustics - a Cort and a Washburn).

I want to change the collection up a bit! But I don't know what to do. Still. I feel like there's not enough variety but I haven't the space or money to get more, and I can't bare to part with my 2 acoustics cos between them they're really (finally!) giving me the best of both worlds. It's things in the electric department that have me strung up!! I feel like I could cut 2 LPs and go for a Strat and something else to fill it out and keep just the 1 LP.

There is one in the making and nodding now, a guitarbuild body. I like it a tele, but with strat trem and pickup routes. But a bridge pickup wound more like a tele. That's what I need.

I always own n-1 where n is the number of guitars I believe I need. 

Currently I own an Ovation acoustic, a Telecaster, and a Pacifica 311H. I need another guitar which is currently a Strat (although next week it could just as well be an Esquire, a Junior, or a Jaguar).

And the cutaway of a Les Paul for good measure? Sounds to me like you don't know what you want, therefore, need more guitars.
