    Happy birthday Dave. Love all three of those.
    Big fan of the TV jones guitars. I've spent far too long on The North American site looking at them.

    Nice. If I were daft enough to want to splurge on a TLL, where could I get one in the UK?

    Well, there's The North American Guitar. I think they may be the only UK distributors, but there don't appear to be any in at the moment, although there's a TLL Deckart coming in in May, apparently. Personally, based on my experience with TNAG, without saying too much, I would be approaching TLL direct, and I may well do that about a Deckart model. I don't know if they'd insist on it going through a distributor, but I'll let you know if I enquire.

    Thanks! The TLL is very nice indeed. Its the one that I pick up most at the moment. although I'm working most of the time at present, so don't spend much time with them.

    However, there is one change to the trio due to take place today. After all, it's been a week.....   :)

    Cheeky! =)  Sod's law, after deciding to go for another Crossroads, because I was fed up with 'communication issues' from the store re: the Private Build, guess what came up? A used Private Build from a very nice member of this forum after buying it from another very nice member of this forum. So, the Crossroads went in the opposite direction and this turned up. It's excellent, but my word, it makes the Crossroads model look exceptional value for money. The difference is, I dunno, maybe 5% or so.

    I'm happy enough, as I ended up getting the TV Jones and the Private Build for what a new Private Build would have cost.

    Thanks! The pickguard also has a free hand included, as you can see, so I'm hoping that it can replace one of the ones I've got that can't play the guitar.

    When it comes to guitars, I have to give the “Mr Cool” title to @DB1 ;

    Some his guitars are haunting me. I recall a blonde es (330, 300?)...oufffff

    Best of wishes and i hope you  celebrate 61st in good health and new guitars.

    Thanks @melod - hope you're well. There was a blonde 330 and a 300, both of which were lovely, separated by 70 years though - the ES-300 was from 1948. I think that, at the rate I get through guitars, 'Mr Tool' would be more appropriate, but thanks for the kind thought! ;)
