They remind me of the rather ugly Al Di Meola signature model.  Not a big fan, although I love PRS and some of their blingy finishes.

I got about 15 emails from different guitar shops about these today.  Does that mean a big push by PRS, or do the shops all, independently, think they're exciting news? 

I like PRS but no, these are not for for me.

Some customers want a familiar design with a visibly conspicuous twist. A couple of years ago, it was spalted body top veneers. 

More recently, Anderton’s has been majoring on purple Telecasters at several price points. So much so that the man at the origin of this fad became bored and had his personal CS Fender stripped and refinished.

This too shall pass.
