If the OP's original question is cockney rhyming slang, then yes I certainly do.
"Anybody can play. The note is only 20%. The attitude of the motherf*cker who plays it is  80%" - Miles Davis

I mean, I was born in Leytonstone, not quite a cockney though.

I've posted this on another thread recently, but...
I have a 12-string, which I bought new in around 1998 when they were being discounted everywhere.

The build quality is among the worst of any guitar I have owned (certainly worse than a modern Indonesia-made Squier Affinity)

Hardware quality is equally bad - the bridge is made of something really soft and the strings have cut into the metal where they go through it. There doesn't seem to be a replacement bridge available anywhere.

The sound is OK, once I replaced the pickups with some normal Strat-type ones

I do actually like the looks and still play it a fair bit - I really must get a better 12-string at some point, but Rickenbackers are beyond my budget and I'm not sure what else is good. One thing that is nice about the Venus is that separate intonation adjustment is possible for all 12 strings, which is not the case for a lot of other 12-string bridges.

Imagine you were a newly successful rock star and get a call from someone at Fender about a signature model and get all excited then they go "it's going to be a Squier"
I reckon J Mascis and the Cribs would  have been pretty happy with their Squier signatures.

I'd say Squier are more interesting than Fender these days too.
    More interesting how?

Most of the models are the same as Fender models.
Take a look at the paranormal range in one of the other threads. Plus the incoming FSR sparkle telecasters.
They are interesting but so are Fender models.

I wonder if you mean more that Squier are just as interesting as Fender despite some people looking down on them?

Maybe I'll save my pennies. Seller wants 600 quid for it (a green one).

I got mine for £199 (with a free leather strap!) in about 2000.

As much as I like it I wouldn't pay £600 for one. Considered a second one at £400ish once but that's too much.

I hate this place sometimes. I was happy with my guitars but now I really want a green Venus.
I might have to let one of my guitars go to fund it.

I'm confused how a thread where everyone says a guitar is an overpriced POS could make you want one.

My thoughts exactly. I’m not sure it’s this place or our advice that @grungebob should hate. ;)

Probably takes internet opinions with a grain of salt (like I should more) and likes the look.

Are we allowed to say that about Courtney? ;)

    It’s so awful.

    It was punk, yea.
    It was perfect.
    Now, it’s awful.

My old boss used to drily comment on certain women in the music shop, "like those Ernie Ball strings....skinny top, heavy bottom"

Oh dear, this must mean you either had a few too many beers last night and this will soon be a NGD or you are still thinking about it despite the advice. :)
