Recommend a delay with tape, reverse and a few presets.

I'm a proper moron and I thought the Nemesis was really easy to use.

Just bought an Echosystem. Looks fabulous.

Had a Volante, sold it, tried the Collider, returned it (mainly due to bugs) and now have a Volante returning again.

It’s such a fantastic pedal.  Extremely easy to use, and no need to dive into apps etc. Can’t recommend it highly enough - just annoyed how long I have to wait for it to be delivered  :)

Otherwise if you like darker repeats, the carbon copy never gets old.
    This commitment is admirable

Just a quick bump to see whether any other suitable delays have come on the market / can be recommended? Need tape, reverse and a few presets. Simpler the better.

Korg SDD 3000 and Eventide Timefactor both on the large size but superb.
With the Korg you can opt to have the preamp on when in bypass so you get that lovely unique tone.
The timefactor also has an excellent looper.
The Korg is my favourite, thanks @Wazmeister, ;but both are on my board.

    Pigtronix Echolution?

I have one and a DD200. The Boss is brighter and sounds great to me; the Echolution is voiced darker and has a more atmospheric feel to it.

The pigtronix is on a non-standard PSU isn’t it?

Walrus Mako D1 would fit the bill very nicely. Handful of presets, no menus, sounds brilliant - the Attack control in particular makes it really flexible

Yeh, like the look of that. Expensive though. No tape?

Hmm, too big and complicated I think. DD 200 is defo still a front-runner

Interesting. Looks great. Reverse though? Not sure I'd use the looper. What's Waz's current delay of choice?

It has “vintage” which is sort of a generic old-fashioned sounding mode. Not specifically modelling tape or drum or tube but sounds brilliant. I typically lean towards tape sounds on other units and that’s my favourite on the D1

The reverse delay on the Eventide Rose is the best I’ve ever heard. I know it doesn’t really do a tape emulation per se, but the range of modulation on it is huge. Worth a try.

The DD-200 is a great delay pedal and £187 on Amazon Prime.

    Two Boss DD8s?

This would be more fun than a DD200.
Who needs presets? One pedal, other pedal, both together. Warp and Glitch modes for sonic terrorism. Fewer knobs to learn than a DD200, just have to use them all twice.
Boss put all the fun stuff on the 8 ( including Tape and Reverse).

    YMMV.
