Recommend a delay with tape, reverse and a few presets.

I must say I'm attracted by the 'less knobs' thing.

Running two DD type pedals works really really well for when you just wanna rock, without cocking about with menus and all that. You can even use a Y cable to connect a tap tempo pedal to both of them at the same time. I ran a board like that for years!

Eventide Rose is overlooked, it’s a stunning sounding delay and has a great reverse mode, I miss mine.
