I know mate, I worded it incorrectly

what I meant was do they normally sell many at that full price

i had no idea myself that Yamaha sold such expensive guitars but looking at some other forums the L range seems to be held in very high regard even at full price. Not sure if many were sold at that price though in the UK

They just don’t make that many in total, and I think the lion’s share are kept in Japan.

I am very proud of myself that I have resisted.

Although the main reason is that I already have a non-cutaway LJ26 !

Was very tempted by a cutaway L36 but praise the lord they have all sold.

Correct. Wasn’t sure but then saw Bonamassa and Lukather playing one so clearly, as I’ve just explained to my wife, it will make me a better guitarist and able to play all of those riffs.
