Reminds me of an eBay listing that I saw recently.  I’m sure it is upgraded to the seller but to me he’s destroyed the guitar of my dreams...

I've only ever modified one guitar, a Blacktop Jaguar with two humbuckers that always sounded incredibly dull and murky to me.  After 18 months of putting up with them (while otherwise enjoying the feel of the guitar) I replaced them with a Duncan Jazz and a JB and added coil splitting.

My other guitars and basses have remained unmolested.

I don't think it looks that bad, to be honest.  And the workmanship (I nearly wrote execution) looks tidy enough.

But the idea of a Bigsby with Floyd Rose fine tuners and a locking nut is just bizarre.  It's such a culture clash.

A common one I see is nice MIJ guitars that have been “upgraded “ with a Gibson headstock decal. Turns me right off .
