I haven't taken any decent photos of this guitar in a few years now, and I saw the opportunity with some sunlights so here we go! This guitar usually annoys some of the purists, but here we go!

Yep! On a certain Gibson page on Facebook it annoyed a lot of people. Especially some 15 year old kid haha. Apparently because I also want to put locking tuners on it, it will sound like shit, because that affects the tone soooooo much.

I'd prefer it if they didn't paint the back of the headstock, but it's a cool guitar sure enough.

Best guitars ever. Bugger what anyone else thinks, ‘purists’ often play 12 bar blues to no one in their bedrooms and shit a brick if one of their 12 R8s fades slightly - a sanded neck feels lovely and if you want locking tuners, go for it. My white Custom has had a complete electrics, pickups and hardware transplant and is yellowing nicely and I wouldn’t change it for the world now. Happy LP Custom-ing!
