Showing my ignorance! I assumed they had painted necks.

They have dude, had the neck stripped but left the back of the headstock due to serial number and customshop logo.

Oh definitely mate, the painted neck kept getting sticky, even after multiple matting with wire wool, so off it went!

About £2.4-2.5k seems to be about right for one with an ebony fretboard. Couple of hundred less for richlite.
